Tony Ciano

Founder & Coach

I have loved running as long as I can remember. I found ultra endurance running through a desire to really explore my limits, to push on my perceived sense of potential. My experiences in races from 50k to 240 miles have repeatedly shown the transformative impact of exploring new horizons mentally, physically and emotionally while developing greater grit and resilience along the way.

I have been a principles-based performance coach for years and have worked with professional athletes, musicians, business and nonprofit leaders, and social entrepreneurs driving impact in their communities. Every high performing leader I’ve worked with ties their success to having a clear personal vision – a deep understanding of their ‘why’ and ‘what’ – and guiding principles as the foundation for decision-making and action. I believe deeply that we are all capable of so much more than we realize, and I love helping partners break through their perceived limits and redefine what’s possible – to extend their horizon.

My approach to training and coaching is influenced in part by “Man’s Search for Meaning,” “Comfort Crisis,” “Do Hard Things,” and “Meditations.”
